Mission Clean Water started when founder James Leitner walked 3,250 miles across the United States carrying 10 gallons of water to symbolize how far women and children in developing countries must walk in a year to collect water. The goal of Mission Clean Water is to ensure that developing communities have reliable, year-round access to clean water, even in the toughest of conditions. Donate

San Antonio-based Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation (WRR) has been saving the lives of animals since 1977 by rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife throughout the world. Approximately 10,000 orphaned, injured, and displaced wildlife pass through WRR’s doors each year, most of which are rehabilitated and released back into their native habitat. In addition, WRR owns 212 acres of land near Kendalia, Texas, where they provide permanent sanctuary to more than 600 unreleasable animals, including indigenous wildlife and non-native animals victimized by the “pet” trade and roadside zoos, and retirees from research facilities. Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation also serves as a wildlife educational advocate in Texas. They receive more than 11,000 calls a year on their emergency wildlife hotline, which is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Donate
